EBRPSS Students in grades Pre-K - 5, who would like to participate in hybrid learning, will be able to return to school on September 14th based on the following plan: ● Students with last names beginning with A-K will attend in person on Monday and Tuesday. This group will learn virtually Wednesday - Friday. ● Students with last names beginning with L-Z will attend in person on Thursday and Friday. This group will learn virtually Monday - Wednesday. ● Students PreK-5th grade in low-incidence, self-contained classes (severe and profound classes) will attend in person four days a week: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday. ● Children of EBRPSS employees in grades PreK - 5 may attend the student’s school of record four days a week: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday. ● School buildings will undergo deep cleaning every Wednesday. All students will learn virtually on Wednesday. For all students who wish to continue learning in the all-virtual environment, parents may complete the virtual opt-in form by clicking here by Sept. 8th. If you previously completed this form before the school year began, please resubmit it at this time to remain in virtual learning. EBR Schools are currently participating in the HYBRID LEARNING MODEL. Are school uniforms required for virtual learning? Yes, students are required to wear school uniforms. K-5 students wear burgundy tops and navy blue bottoms. Pre-K students wear navy blue tops and bottoms. Students also have the option to wear The Dufrocq School's spirit shirts.
Will attendance be taken? Student attendance will be recorded daily and based on student participation in live lessons and assignment completion in Google Classroom. We do understand that live participation may not be possible in all cases, If this is an issue for your family please contact your child's teacher.
Where will virtual lessons and assignments be given? Virtual lessons are given live, recorded daily, and posted in each teacher's Google Classroom. Assignments are posted in Google Classroom under the Classwork tab.
Which online platforms is Dufrocq using for virtual learning? Google Classroom - assignments, grading, teacher-student communication Google Meet - live virtual lessons and small-group instruction Class Dojo/Remind - parent-teacher communication/messaging Clever - single sign-on portal for most of students' digital resources Online Resources Through Clever: Achieve3000, Zearn, Eureka Math, and MobyMax Students can access these resources and more by clicking the link to Clever. They should choose, login with Google and enter their EBR username and password.
