REading at home!

​Greetings,

All students in grades Pre-K - 2nd will be receiving books to take home for their home library from EBR Division of Literacy's Literacy Innovation Project. The books are correlated to texts they are currently reading in the classroom. Research has shown that having books in the home is proven to positively benefit children by increasing their academic success, vocabulary development, attention, and job attainment. Asking and answering questions is also important as a child learns to read. Please refer to the attached questions as you engage in reading with your child. Happy Reading!
