ast Baton Rouge Parish School System is committed to providing a safe and secure learning environment for ALL students and staff. With this priority in mind, we will resume random searches for weapons and drugs with the assistance of law enforcement and K9 units. Please discuss this important safety procedure with your scholar. 

For other school updates:

​Our school spelling bee has moved to Wednesday, March 22nd at 1:30.  The class winners of the 3rd, 4th and 5th grade classes have 1 extra day to study the spelling lists and prepare.  The winner will go on to compete district wide in April.


Our Honor Roll program will be on Friday.  The times are on the March Newsletter which was sent home and is on the website below.    Enjoy the day everyone!

Today, our MicroSociety Officers were inducted by Judge Don Johnson.  Congratulations to our Mayor of Crawfish Bayou: Timothy Washington, Mayor Pro-Tem Hailey Thompson and all our Class Representatives!  We look forward to their leadership!

Last Day to request chocolate box: Friday, February, 10th by Noon.
Final Due date for all money to be turned in: Monday, February 13th

10th:  Go Red Day for Heart Health Month to bring awareness!
14th: Valentine's Day: Wear Reds, Whites, & Pinks in your clothing or accessories to show a little love!
17th: Mardi Gras: Wear Purples, Green's and Gold's/Yellow's in your clothing or accessories to show you are ready to let the good times roll! 
24th: Black History: Wear African prints (Kente, Kitenge or Ankara fabrics) 
or t-shirts to show celebration of African and African-American history!
